PerkinElmer Elite-5 Gas Chromatography Columns

The Elite range of MS columns from PerkinElmer are engineered for extremely low bleed for high sensitivity MS detectors, providing optimum sensitivity, but may also be used for other detectors.

Featuring the Elite-5 GC Columns

The Elite-5 is a 5% diphenyl/95% dimethyl polysiloxane stationary phase. It is regarded as a general purpose, low polarity phase that is the most popular GC stationary phase.  The Elite-5 is a crosslinked phase in which all residual catalysts and low molecular weight fragments have been removed providing a tight mono-modal distribution and extremely low bleed.

Elite-5 GC columns are commonly used for analysis of drugs, pesticides, hydrocarbons, PCBs, essential oils, semivolatiles and solvent impurities. Equivalent to USP G27 and G36 phases.
