JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

We are looking for an IT Systems Analyst/Programmer to join our team! As an Analyst/ Programmer, you will perform analysis and programming duties in the development, implementation and support of information systems and applications. The Senior IT Support Specialist will be an integral complement to a small and impactful IT team reporting directly to the IT Manager.

Accountabilities and Performance Measures (KPIs)

 

- Programming (60%)

  • • Design, develop, document, analyze, create, test and modify systems, programs and integrations.
  • • Apply system-analyst techniques and procedures, including consulting with users to determine hardware, software or systems functional specifications.
  • • Arrange project requirements in programming sequence by analyzing requirements, preparing a workflow chart and diagram using knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, programming language, and logic.

 

- Documentation (20%)

  • • Document the functionality and requirements.
  • • Analyze user information system needs.

 

- Process Improvement (20%)

  • • Research, evaluate and recommend solutions and appropriate technology to meet user's needs.
  • • Maintains computer systems and programming guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures
  • • Develops and maintains applications and databases by evaluating client needs; analyzing requirements; developing software systems.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • • Bachelor’s Degree in computer related discipline. Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis. Experience in systems design, programming and/or systems software and support.
  • • 2-3 years developer experience in C#, ASP.net, JavaScript, JQuery etc.
  • • Windows .NET Framework, including VB.Net and ASP.Net programming experience preferred.
  • • Database design/administration experience (Design, implementation, modification)
  • • Proficient in writing fine-tuned SQL queries, stored procedures (e.g., PL/SQL code) and working with data in relational databases like Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL etc.
  • • Ability to: Recognize and resolve system related problems; work independently and make necessary decisions throughout the systems process within department guidelines.

Organizational Alignment:

 

  • • Reports to the IT Manager.
  • • Collaborates with and enlist the support of the VP of Operations, VP of Fulfillment, and VP of Business Development as needed.


Supervisory Responsbility:

 

  • • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

 

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional/warehouse office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Neta Scientific, Inc. normally is open for business from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. You will be assigned a work schedule and you will be expected to begin and end work according to the schedule. To accommodate the needs of our business, at some point we may need to change individual work schedules on either a short-term or long-term basis.
